Cultural Heritage in Action

Call for participants in online peer learning visits is open!

Are you curious about data collection for preservation of cultural heritage? Do you want to learn more on how to involve communities through cultural heritage? Or willing to learn more cultural heritage for urban and regional development & sustainability? Then our online peer learning visits are for you!

If you are working on culture and cultural heritage for a city, rural or regional administration from the EU 27 plus the United Kingdom, or working for a civil society organisation, cultural initiative or project, or working for a national administration in charge of culture and cultural heritage, of if you are an architect, you are eligible to take part in our online peer learning visits.

We have selected six host cities and regions to give you the opportunity to discuss first-hand how they have successfully implemented their policies and projects and how they locally support culture and cultural heritage. During the online peer-learning visit, you will be able to also discuss challenges and barriers encountered along the way and how they were overcome. The online visit will provide an intimate and trusting setting to discuss pitfalls and failures, provide feedback and constructive criticism and build solutions together. Selected participants will get useful information and ideas for improving their existing local projects, initiating new ones or transferring some of the presented practices.

A call for participants in online peer learning visits running from March to May 2021 is now open until 8 February. You can download the application form here. Please note that applications are limited to two preferential choices (one application form per chosen visit). Selected applicants (24 per visit) will be informed by 15 February 2021. Good luck!
