Dear all,

The EU Commission announced on 11 May the creation of a so-called Fit For Future Platform, which will work on the simplification of the EU legislation and examine whether EU legislation remains appropriate given the need to tackle new challenges.

The Commission is looking for experts to take part in a stakeholder group which will contribute to the work of the platform.

For more information, please see the Commission’s decision establishing this new platform and the call for experts (docs enclosed).

Please see below some key points extracted from the application form.

>> Please keep the ACE Secretariat informed if you apply.

With kind regards

Pierre Obajtek
ACE Policy Officer

Members should be prepared to attend meetings, to contribute actively to discussions in the Platform, to gather evidence and analyse it, to be actively involved in preparatory work ahead of meetings, to draft and provide comments on documents under discussion, and act, when appropriate, as 'rapporteurs' for specific topics.

Working documents of the Platform will be drafted in English and meetings will also be conducted in English.
